X.Teams career center opens at UNIT Factory

From now on, it will be much easier for its students to obtain decent jobs.

UNIT Factory launches X.Teams сareer сenter in partnership with InSoft. This new department will help the school’s students to create their own startups, intern with Ukrainian and foreign IT companies, and find employment.

Today programmers from Ukraine are in high demand. Plenty of international IT companies are looking into hiring Ukrainian IT specialists. In 2018, software development became the country’s second-largest service industry amounting to more than 20% of the export. X.Teams will help the graduates of UNIT Factory to make the most of their studies.

“It is important for us that our graduates have a reasonable salary — starting at $1,000 and in five years, reaching the level of $5,000 — and spend their money here, in Ukraine. The career center will help UNIT Factory students to effectively look for a job. And this will have a positive impact on UNIT.City’s ecosystem generally,” the founder of UFuture Vasyl Khmelnytsky said.

Thanks to X.Teams, graduates of UNIT Factory will advantageously position themselves within large corporations, who having come to Ukraine, tend to attract talents at lower prices.

“We build close ties between business and UNIT Factory so that students can work on real cases and communicate with experienced industry professionals. We currently cooperate with well-known American accelerators as well as product and outsourcing companies,” Vitaliy Horovyi, InSoft Capital’s managing partner and founder of X.Teams said.

Vitaliy Horovyi added that it is necessary for UNIT Factory that brings together talented and ambitious people to create a network of alumni allowing them to be in touch, interact, and develop joint projects.
