The system for fixing biometric data of foreigners and stateless persons was held presentation at the International airport Kyiv

On December 21, presentation of the system for fixing biometric data of foreigners and stateless persons was held at the International airport Kyiv (Zhulyany) with the participation of the leadership of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, and the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

The system of fixation of biometric data of foreigners and stateless persons was introduced in pursuance of the Decree of President of Ukraine from August 30, 2017, No. 256 “On the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine of July 10  “On strengthening control over the entry of foreigners and stateless persons into Ukraine, their observance of the rules of staying in Ukraine”.

The system for fixing biometric data of foreigners and stateless persons will become one of the subsystems of the automated system of border control.
