Statistics for Kyiv International Airport, May 2018

In May 2018 Kyiv International Airport named after Ihor Sikorsky served 230,800 passengers, which is 146.5% more than in May 2017. The number of passengers served on international flights was 223,200, while on internal flights some 7,600 passengers.

The number of flights in May 2018 amounted to 2,920 including arrivals and departures, which is 138 % more than in the same period in 2017, of which international flights amounted to 2,494, domestic flights to 426.

The most popular international destinations in May 2018 were Antalya (Turkey), Minsk (Belarus), Ankara (Turkey), Warsaw (Poland), Dubai (the UAE), Rome (Italy), Budapest (Hungary), while the most popular domestic routes were Odesa, Zaporizhia, and Lviv.

In January-May 2018 Kyiv International Airport served 856,800 passengers, which is 68.9% more than in January-May 2017. The number of passengers served on international flights stood at 824,000, while on domestic flights some 32,800 people.

The number of flights in January-May 2018 amounted to 10,522 including arrivals and departures, which is 41.2% more than in the same period in 2017, of which international flights were 8,579, and domestic flights amounted to 1,763.

The most popular international destinations since the beginning of 2018 are Minsk (Belarus), Dubai (the UAE), Ankara (Turkey), Warsaw (Poland), Rome (Italy), Budapest (Hungary), Antalya (Turkey), while the most popular domestic routes were Odesa, Zaporizhia, and Lviv.

During holding the UEFA Champions League finals in Kyiv from May 25 to May 27, Kyiv Airport had served 412 business aviation flights, 148 regular flights and 56 charter flights.

A total of 29,000 passengers had been served in three days.

However, May 26, 2018 became the day of a new record for Kyiv International Airport – for the first time in its history, the airport accepted almost 11,000 passengers!
