Sector X Acceleration Hub announces a set of MusicTech startups for the music hackathon

Acceleration hub Sector X has started recruiting startups from the music industry and ideas for them to a music hackathon from the innovation park UNIT.City, record label Masterskaya and Sector X. The event will take place on June 19-20 at UNIT.City.

Projects with new ideas and technological solutions in the musical and cultural spheres, which have commercial use and are able to scale, are waiting for the hackathon. Among the areas considered by startups:

music streaming & live concerts;
AI & big data for music;
AR/VR and entertainment;
User experience, recommendations & personalization (applications for listening or searching for content, personalization of recommendations);
Q-commerce for music (online shopping from tickets to samples and merch);
IoT & hardware (new sound and collaborative music creation about musical instruments and accessories).

The winners will receive a cash prize of $3,000, mentorship, and support from Masterskaya, free space in the space for startups at UNIT.City — NEST, as well as access to all events and workshops of the innovation park, as well as acceleration in Sector X and loans from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
