Kyiv International Airport increases passenger traffic by 36,5%

The overall number of flights grew by 18.6%

Kyiv International Airport served over 854,400 passengers in January-April 2019, which is 36,5% more compared to last year’s figure for the same four-month period. The number of passengers served on international flights was 832,800 and 21,600 – on domestic flights.

In the first quarter of this year, the number of flights – including arrivals and departures – amounted to 9,015, which is 18.6 % more than in the same period of 2018: 1,441 domestic flights with Odesa, Zaporizhia, and Lviv as highest-demand locations; 7,574 international flights with Sharm El Sheikh (Egypt), Warsaw (Poland), Minsk (Belarus), Ankara (Turkey), Vienna (Austria), Berlin (Germany), and Rome (Italy) as the most popular destinations abroad.
