“Kyiv” international airport has served almost two million passengers since the beginning of the year

In January-August 2019, Kyiv Sikorsky International Airport served 1 million 856 thousand passengers – about 1,808,000 of them made international flights and nearly 48,000 – domestic flights. The total number of flights this year is 19,663 for arrivals and departures, which is 2.2% more than the same period last year.

The most popular international destinations since the beginning of 2019 have been Minsk (Belarus), Warsaw (Poland), Sharm el-Sheikh (Egypt), Rome (Italy), Ankara (Turkey), Vienna (Austria), Berlin (Germany), and domestic destinations – Odesa, Zaporizhzhia, and Lviv.
