The group is starting construction of new campuses on the territory of the innovation park

ICG Kovalska and UFuture announce cooperation and start construction of new business campuses on the territory of UNIT.City.

Kovalska’s team is taking over the construction of the cluster, which will include, in particular, five business campuses with a total area of 70,000 square meters. Investments in the development of the innovation park by the industrial-construction group amount to more than $70 million. The expected project implementation period is four years.

«UNIT.City is an innovative ecosystem that already affects the development of the technology sector and the country's economy as a whole, although implemented by only 7%. But the main thing is that we are already opening opportunities for talents and companies to succeed here in Ukraine. Today, we involve strong market leaders in a strategic partnership to bring UNIT.City to the global level in 2023 by combining experience, knowledge and resources, » said Vasyl Khmelnytsky, founder of UFuture
«Despite all the disappointing forecasts that have accompanied the economy this year, we, as a domestic investor and a reliable business partner, believe in Ukrainian business and the success of domestic entrepreneurs. That is why we join the development of UNIT.City, a unique technological and creative environment for Ukraine, which accumulates the best talents around it. I am convinced that Kovalska, as a powerful player in the construction market, will provide a tangible impetus for the development of the innovation park, » commented Serhiy Pylypenko, General Director of Kovalska ICG

Kovalska’s projects at UNIT.City will comply with the principles of sustainable architecture, including innovation, aesthetics and environmental safety. The facilities are expected to be Leed Silver certified, which means that they will consume 25% less energy and water during operation.

«UNIT.City is a cult project that can be created only in partnership with powerful market players. We invite companies that share our values to cooperate. We are very impressed by the innovative nature of the work of the Kovalska team. Together we will create a modern cluster that will adorn the park, » explained Constantine Yevtushenko, Managing Partner of UNIT.City

About campuses

Kovalska campuses are harmoniously integrated into the general architectural context of UNIT.City. Kovalska hired the well-known European architectural firm APA Wojciechowski and the international engineering company TEBIN to develop their projects.

Campus B04 will have a dynamic three-dimensional crystal shape. Relief architectural details on the facade will add massiveness to the building. B04 will clearly and distinctly emphasize the boundaries of space and stand out against a series of all-glass campuses.

Campus B06 will also be an original element of the complex. Visually, the object will be divided into two masses: a seven-storey building, which holds the compositional height of the building, and a two-storey building, which extends towards the neighbouring building and cantilevered over the main body of the building.

In the construction of new campuses, Kovalska uses innovative approaches that are unique to the Ukrainian market.

«The entire process of working on the project, including the stage of maintenance of buildings after their construction, will be comprehensively digitized using BIM-technologies. Such a large-scale BIM support is an exceptional experience for the Ukrainian construction industry. We are glad to have the opportunity to implement it from UNIT.City. In fact, we already have digital copies of campuses, which calculate every detail and determine the exact time of each stage of work. This approach makes it possible to significantly reduce the time of the project and avoids mistakes in construction, » said Igor Subotenko, Deputy General Director of ICG Kovalska
