Vasyl Khmelnytsky at GET Business Festival: “No one will help you on the road to success”

The largest business event of Ukraine GET Business Festival took place in Kyiv, where 70 top speakers and about 3000 entrepreneurs gathered to enhance their competencies and share their experience and practical cases.

The headliner of the festival was the founder of the holding company UFuture Vasyl Khmelnytsky. The entrepreneur shared with the participants of the forum his vision of the theory of justice, the secrets of building a successful partnership and the main factors for success.

“You can love children, help parents and friends, but you are the main person in your life. Personally, you need to be successful in order to give your children a good education, help parents in old age, and make friends and partners successful. Nobody will help you, most people will complain, stick sticks in wheels. But they do not have to be offended, they are in other circumstances. We must create our own circumstances that will help us to be more successful,” Vasyl Khmelnytsky convinced.

The entrepreneur also said the audience about the win-win concept.

“Win-win is when you team up with someone to make more money, lose less in the event of a problem and see more opportunities and solutions. Most of my projects are done in partnership: Zaporizhstal, Ocean Plaza, Zhuliany Airport, Novopechersʹki Lypky, Biopharma,” Vasyl Khmelnytsky explained.

Talking about mutually beneficial business cooperation, the festival’s headliner shared his vision of collaboration on the example of UNIT.City Innovation Park and four factors when looking for a partner.

“The only project in which I currently have no partner is UNIT.City. I am looking for it, because besides the money, I expect such a person to pass on my experience and knowledge. A plus of the partnership is that it is easier to solve problems together. Business is much more stable if there are partners. When looking for a partner, the first principle is a risk. I want him to invest money and more — he has to have a strong understanding of the business he wants to build, he has to have a great experience. The third factor is that the partner must have a good understanding of accounting and finance. It’s boring, but it’s very important, with no options here. The fourth is reputation. Now this is a new currency, money will run after you if you have a good reputation,” Vasyl Khmelnytsky said.
