Statistics of Kyiv International Airport (Zhuliany), December 2017. The results of the year
In December 2017, Kyiv International Airport (Zhuliany) served 155,400 passengers, which was 43.6% more than in December 2016. The number of passengers served on international routes was 149,000, while those who flew on domestic routes numbered 6,400.
The number of flights in December 2017 was 1,877 both as arrivals and departures, which was 12.8% more than in the same period in 2016. These included 1,584 international flights and 293 domestic flights.
The most popular international destinations in December 2017 were Dubai (UAE), Minsk (Belarus), Ankara (Turkey), Budapest (Hungary), Warsaw (Poland), Memmingen (Germany), Sharm El Sheikh (Egypt), Rome (Italy). Odesa, Zaporizhia and Lviv were popular domestic destinations.
During 2017, Kyiv International Airport (Zhuliany) handled arrivals and departures with 1,851,700 passengers, a 64.2% increase compared to 2016. The number of passengers who travelled on international flights was 1,768,400 people and there were 83,300 passengers who travelled on domestic flights.
The number of flights in 2017 was 23,257 on arrivals and departures, which was 27.3% up on 2016. They included 19,115 international flights and 4,142 domestic ones.
