7 rules of success in business on the aviation example — Denis Kostrzhevsky, Head of the Board of Directors of Kyiv Sikorsky Airport

Life dictates different patterns of behavior. But I am convinced that people who follow certain rules in business are more successful than those who do not, said Denis Kostrzhevsky, Head of the Board of Directors of Kyiv Sikorsky International Airport, in his column for LIGA.net.

Rule №1 — honesty and decency. This is especially important in aviation. Yes, the aviation business is very sensitive in terms of flight safety, punctuality in fulfilling the obligations of all contractors involved in this business.

Rule №2 — punctuality. Accuracy in the relationship between partners is impossible without punctuality. If the plane is to arrive at 12:00 and depart at 13:00, that is exactly how it should be. And there are many things involved in this process: the staff has to go to work on time, service the plane, refuel it so that it can fly further.

Rule №3 — self-discipline. People who are immersed in a business process need to be more focused to make timely decisions, negotiate and meet effectively.

Rule №4 — motivation and purposefulness.

"Only a person who does not need to be pushed can be successful in business," said Denis Kostrzhevsky.

If a person motivates himself, sets goals for himself, uses such qualities as systematics, punctuality, honesty, he will reach the goal faster than the one who woke up and “oh, I want to sleep, I will not go to work — I will rest, I’m a businessman.”

Rule №5 — be able to work in a team. This applies to both the workforce and relationships with business partners.

Rule №6 — do not take to heart. Any failure is a good experience, although sometimes expensive.

Rule №7 — never stop! Constantly learn, improve, find new interests and hobbies, change areas of activity.
