The fund\u2019s task is to help young people achieve success in Ukraine<\/em><\/p>\n

Ukrainian businessman Vasyl Khmelnytsky has set up a private fund \u2013 K.Fund (\u2018K.\u2019 stands for \u2018the key\u2019) \u2013 in order to merge his initiatives in the spheres of economy and education. The new organization\u2019s goal is to support the sustainable development of an individual in the process of education, information exchange, search for and implementation of new ideas.<\/p>\n

\u201cHuman capital is Ukraine\u2019s main asset and potential. The country needs people with new knowledge and skills that are able to implement modern projects. Favorable conditions for education and development will facilitate the formation of a groundbreaking economy. We have to learn, in the broad sense of the word, the best things the world can offer us and implement them all in Ukraine,\u201d Khmelnytsky said<\/cite><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The businessman also stressed that the world changes very fast and the classical system of education lags behind these changes. Therefore, K.Fund is oriented towards the model of sustainable education as today people have to learn all the time throughout their lives. As regards the economy, K.Fund will assist in implementing projects aimed at forming the so-called knowledge-driven economy in Ukraine \u2013 the introduction of new technologies, investment, and the creation of well-paid jobs.<\/p>\n

\u201cI want more young professionals to be given a chance to succeed in their home country and have prospects here, not abroad. I will support projects in the spheres of education and economy that could facilitate the development of favorable conditions and added value of the country and its people. This initiative is public, and not political. Our task is to give young people the keys to open new horizons and find a way to their dreams,\u201d Khmelnytsky said <\/cite><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Today the businessman supports projects of Kyiv International Economic Forum (KIEF); the Osvitoria public association \u2013 a secondary school, Novopecherska School, in Kyiv, the iLearn online platform for students of boarding schools and children from needy families; a master\u2019s level program in public administration at the National University of \u201cKyiv-Mohyla Academy\u201d; and Ukraine\u2019s first intercorporate IT university BIONIC University, etc.
\nKhmelnytsky\u2019s Library project will be launched in the next few months to publish modern literature in Ukrainian on three main topics \u2013 education, economy, and entrepreneurship.<\/p>\n

Vasyl Khmelnytsky is a Ukrainian businessman, Vice-President of the Ukrainian League of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs. He invests in the development of various businesses in Ukraine with focus on cooperation and co-management. Almost every project has own configuration of shareholders and management.
\nToday the entrepreneur\u2019s core activity is real estate development business. He is a majority shareholder in UDP company, which implements large-scale infrastructure projects, including Kyiv International Airport, Ocean Plaza shopping mall, residential complexes Novopecherski Lypki, Boulevard of Fountains, RiverStone, and Parkove Misto. Khmelnytsky also invests in BIOFARMA (pharmaceuticals production), Star Media (production of films and TV programs), RTM (national advertising operator). The entrepreneur\u2019s plans include the creation of hi-tech industrial facilities, the development of innovation parks, and attraction of foreign investment and technologies in Ukraine.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
